Overview
The ABC started as a company in Gent, Belgium in 1983. A branch-office was set-up in Perth, Western Australia in 1988, initially as a free-lance consultancy servicing the local Solar Salt industry.
This became a permanent base in 1989, servicing the SE-Asian region’s salt producers and the newly established aquaculture industries.

We have over 15 years of international expertise in environmental engineering, mainly in the treatment of saline effluents. We performed ecological studies and biological management for the major commercial solar salt field operators in Australia and were involved with innovative wastewater treatment research, using biological indicators for nutrient stripping and advanced tertiary treatment.
